Taco Town - Minecraft

When you log back onto a server that you haven't been in almost five years -  and find all your wolifies. 😭 My magnificent seven are still here!!!

My son was finally able to update his server that he built his town on. It's one of the best servers that he has made and it will be so much fun once we get everything up to date and functioning again.

Happy Anniversary to my other half ...

Whenever this day comes, I cannot help but reminisce and feel grateful for all that we have survived as husband and wife. I know that it has not been easy over the years, but it’s also a testament that true love survives.
I am so blessed to have this man in my life!Happy 24th Anniversary Babe! 🍻

The Big 50

Happy 50th Birthday to me and another milestone reached! LOL! My day had a bit of a hiccup but it all turned out beautiful! I know a lot of people celebrate their 50th with a lot of black, but I wanted a twist on things, so Rose and Gold were added. LOL! My husband's idea for the cake turned out great! It was a big cake! 😊 He also made my favorite dinner - spaghetti and meatballs - and then we had cake and sparking cider. Korina had to celebrate with me, too. Thank you so much to my amazing other half and my not-so-little kiddos for making my day special. Afterwards, we hopped on a few games to celebrate!

Autcraft - POTW

Logged into Player of the Week on Autcraft today and lots of September Birthdays! All the Skylords were present, too!

Movie Night

Spent a few hours in the Stockyards tonight and then kicked back and watched The Little Mermaid. I am honestly very pleased with this movie. Definitely not at all what so many articles portrayed it to be. The Little Mermaid is one of my absolute favorite Disney movies and Ariel has always been my favorite princess. It was beautifully done and the graphics and colors were amazing!

Miss Mollie's Hotel -  Fort Worth's first bed and breakfast, and haunted!!! LOL! I would love to stay here. There are a total of eight rooms, all decked out in authentic western decor of the early 1900s. Visit the links below to learn more about the history of this hotel.

Happy Birthday Wizard101

Happy 15th Birthday Wizard101!! 🎂 This actually made me tear up a bit because I started playing this game WITH my kids and niece when they were so young. We made accounts in 2009 and have been playing ever since. A lot can and does happen in 15 years!

Sunday Blessings - online services

O THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE OF JESUS!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free;
rolling as a mighty ocean
in its fullness over me.
Underneath me, all around me,
is the current of Thy love;
leading onward, leading homeward,
to Thy glorious rest above.

O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Spread His praise from shore to shore;
how He loveth, ever loveth,
changeth never, nevermore;
how He watches o'er His loved ones,
died to call them all His own;
how for them He intercedeth,
watcheth o'er them from the throne.

O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Love of ev'ry love the best:
'tis an ocean vast of blessing,
'tis a haven sweet of rest.
O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
'tis a heav'n of heav'ns to me;
and it lifts me up to glory,
for it lifts me up to Thee.

In memory...

We Shall Never Forget

(9-1-1 Tribute)

 Let the world always remember,
That fateful day in September,
And the ones who answered duty's call,
Should be remembered by us all.

Who left the comfort of their home,
To face perils as yet unknown,
An embodiment of goodness on a day,
When men's hearts had gone astray.

Sons and daughters like me and you,
Who never questioned what they had to do,
Who by example, were a source of hope,
And strength to others who could not cope.

Heroes that would not turn their back,
With determination that would not crack,
Who bound together in their ranks,
And asking not a word of thanks.

Men who bravely gave their lives,
Whose orphaned kids and widowed wives,
Can proudly look back on their dad,
Who gave this country all they had.

Actions taken without regret,
Heroisms we shall never forget,
The ones who paid the ultimate price,
Let's never forget their sacrifice.

And never forget the ones no longer here,
Who fought for the freedoms we all hold dear,
And may their memory never wane,
Lest their sacrifices be in vain.

Work from home ...

Monday was a holiday for me and Tuesday I had to work the front desk, again, which was supposed to be a remote day for me. For some reason, no one wanted that day, so I chose to cover it since I have less days this month because I will be taking a few days off. Today, I am working remote and I woke up at 8am. I was throwing clothes on and trying to login in to my computer at the same time. I am so thankful my personal printer will print because my work printer ran out of ink. LOL. And then this happens.

Happy Labor Day

Yep, I do indeed get Labor Day off these days. The majority of jobs that I have worked through the years never had holidays off. I remember working Christmas Day when I worked at the Fort Worth Zoo.

Observed the first Monday in September, Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.
