Happy Halloween!

Since my daughter, son, and now me, are not feeling well, we have decided that handing out candy this year is just not a good idea. We don't want to risk getting any little kids, or their parents, sick. It's sad because this is one of our favorites times of seasons and Halloween is usually a time we deck the house out with a few decorations and dress up and hand candy out. We have to pass this year.

The candy that was bought I am sure will get eaten since we don't buy anything that we don't eat. LOL! We did carve a little pumpkin to sit out on our porch. Hope you all have a spooky evening!

I miss you

It's been 17 years since we lost my mom. Time sure flies. I sure do miss her. 💗

Playing DDV

Playing Disney Dreamlight Valley and I am working in Remi's restaurant serving customers. Olaf wants hot cocoa. 😁

Happy Reformation Sunday!

Today is Reformation Sunday. Reformation Day is actually October 31st and a day remembering when Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. Growing up Baptist, I do not remember celebrating this day. I knew about the history of Reformation Sunday and what occurred, but I do not remember my church celebrating it.

To put it simply, it was in response to the Roman Catholic Church issuing certificates (indulgences) to certain persons that made a financial gift contributing to the building of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, promising that they or their loved ones would be freed from a portion of the misery that was expected in the afterlife. Martin Luther did not hold this view and insisted that we are not forgiven because of anything we do – including the buying of Indulgences or doing enough good work. Instead, we are forgiven because of who God is. We are loved and forgiven because God is full of grace and mercy. In other words, his“95 Theses,” which propounded two central beliefs — that the Bible is the central religious authority and that humans may reach salvation only by their faith and not by their deeds.

So today, I celebrate with my fellow Christians and as a Presbyterian. Service started this morning with the song Death Was Arrested, and it really got us moving! I really love that song. Wonderful service today!

the movie

I honestly don't care about movie ratings or reviews as I want to watch it myself so I can make that judgement. It's great to know that FNAF is coming out way above the expectations that were projected. We really enjoyed watching and you should have heard my house erupt last night at the ending! 😀

Five Night's at Freddy's was rumored to be given an R rating but ended up PG-13. I am so glad that decision was re-thought because the fan base encompasses all age groups.

FNAF Movie Night

What a fantastic night!! I put together a little FNAF Watch Party tonight and we had quite the time. The movie was awesome! We ordered pizza, dug into Bonnie Rice Krispie treats and got some cute little goodies. Tomorrow we decorate Mr. Cupcake! 😁

Five Night's at Freddy's has been in my house since 2014 and both my kids and niece have enjoyed playing the games over the years and collecting the merch. My daughter still sings all the fan-made songs and plays the latest game. This movie has been highly anticipated and did not disappoint. Thank you Scott! And you should have heard this house when TLT's (The Living Tombstone) song play at the end of this movie!!! 😍

Six Flags Frightfest

I should really be in bed at this time of night since I have to work tomorrow, but I had to wind down for a while. LOL!

We hit up Fright Fest at Six Flags tonight. There were lots of scare zones and haunted houses and loud music. A highlight tonight was Marquis of Vaudeville playing. They are an Alt Rock/Gothic band with a carnival-esque style of music. Pretty cool! Wish I could have stayed for a photo op. 😀

Another restaurant gone ...

It was either Pulido's or Mexican Inn back in the day. Pulidos's was just down the street when we lived on Valentine Street. We ate here for years and always had a wonderful server named Linda serving us. She never got our order wrong and didn't even have to write it down. LOL!
Sad to see them shutting their doors after almost 60 years.😕

Interesting read

Hmm, 🤔 this is definitely interesting. From Houman David Hemmati on X.

Many have been dismissive of Bobby Kennedy Jr and his chances of winning or impacting the outcome of the election. With his likely switch to running as an independent (which would bypass the Democrat primary) I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

Likely Kennedy voters in a general election in which RFK Jr is running as an Independent:

-Non woke Democrats who don’t want open borders and endless talk of gender etc.

-Legal immigrants who are fed up with open border crisis.

-Conservative Democrats (including military service members & veterans) who hate what happened in Afghanistan.

-Moderate to conservative Democrats who are disillusioned by the direction of our country in general.

-Hard core Biden supporters who can no longer afford gas, food, rent, and can’t afford to buy a house given the tripling in interest rates under Biden and reluctantly feel there’s no choice but to change leadership.

-Anti-mandate/lock-down/censorship Democrats who felt lied to, belittled and betrayed by Biden and Democrats in general.

-Democrat parents who are upset at Democrat supported school closures & alignment with teachers unions, school mandates and curriculum shift away from core academics to social & agendas-inappropriate issues.

-Democrats who regret voting for Biden but who can never bring themselves to vote for a GOP candidate.

-Democrats and independents who are deeply concerned about Biden’s age and rapid cognitive decline but who’d never vote for a Democrat as president.

-Democrats who are royally upset at Biden and DNC refusing to allow a Biden/Kennedy debate and rigging the nomination against Kennedy and want to teach the Democrats a lesson.

-Pro-choice (or non-anti-abortion-for-all) Republican voters (and there are many) who are uncomfortable with the GOP’s position on abortion and view it as hypocritical given the party’s support for bodily autonomy during COVID but who really don’t like Biden.

-(Assuming Trump is the nominee) Never Trump Republicans.

-Older Americans who have nostalgia for the Kennedy name.

Kennedy’s poll numbers are low compared to Biden in a Democrat primary but they’re exceptionally high considering how hard the party’s worked against him. Running in the general election, he’ll be able to appeal to all registered voters without the constraints of winning over primary voters from one party.

And when you look at Trump’s 2016 margins of victory in key battleground states, you can see that those third/no-party candidates on the ballot like Jill Stein, who siphoned votes from Hillary, are in large part responsible for his win.

So I say buckle up because this is about to get very interesting. What do you think?

Israel attacked

I am an American and I am a Christian and I will STAND with Israel!!!!

Just weeks ago, Biden handed over $6 billion dollars to Iran and now Israel is being attacked by Hamas and using AMERICAN military equipment that was abandoned in Afghanistan by this mockery of an administration!! Hamas is kidnapping women and children, and you better believe they are being harmed!! And what about the $75 million in Palestinian aid?

Look where our AMERICAN money went!!

You want to know why the Kennedy's have always been a target?? Because they hold to the true Democratic view. One that still believes in morals and ethics.

If you are in support for this current administration, and you can easily go to bed at night with a democratic view, something is wrong. I do not and will not EVER support the views of this current Democratic party. They represent everything UN-AMERICAN and are a plague to this nation.

Biden is absolutely the WORST President ever!!
