Happy July 4th!! God Bless America!!! 🎆
My agency was closed today and I had the day off. We spent it celebrating July 4th at Six Flags. The weather was hot, but we had a good time. 😊

We went to Six Flags today for Viva Fiesta and T wanted to go for his birthday weekend. 😊 It was a really nice day to be out and about. The weather was nice and breezy and we decided to grab lunch at JB's BBQ and eat outside. We walked around and enjoyed the day. The only ride we hopped on was the Mine Train and they are now set up for Flash Pass. Yay! That means we will be able to take advantage of our skip the line passes that come with our memberships. We rarely use them because the rides you can use them for we don't ride. But the Mine Train is our favorite!!! Fun day!!!

We spent Memorial Day at Six Flags and it was a perfect day! Weather held out and it actually cooled down a bit. The new CEO continues to make changes to the park and things are really starting to look much nicer. The Runaway Mine Train is under "significant" maintenance so it was closed. The cave is still shut down unfortunately due to more flood damage. El Sombrero got a much needed paint job and looks so much better! It rides a lot smoother, too. 😊 Can't wait to do some fun stuff on this list!

Cheers to a New Year! 🎊 The New Year is like a blank page in a book and we hold the pen. It is your opportunity to write a new chapter or story. Happy New Year wishes and many blessings!
We took my mother-in-law to Six Flags to see Holiday in the Park and celebrate with fireworks. We had a fantastic time and it was the first time she had ever been to Six Flags when they decorate for Christmas.

Happy New Year!!
We finally got around to going to Fright Fest at Six Flags! We had intended to go a few times throughout October but that didn't pan out. We did end up leaving a bit early because it started to get too crowded. Skye was getting a bit overwhelmed, but we had a blast.

We went to Six Flags yesterday and brought along my MIL, who hasn't been in probably 35 or 40 years. The weather held out, and it a nice and breezy overcast day! I believe Mom II had a great time! 😊

We had a great night at Six Flags Holiday in the Park. The decorations were so colorful and bright. The weather held out and we were able to eat dinner outside. I think we walked the entire park and rode a couple of rides. We ended our night buying smores kits, hot cocoa cups, and a holiday ornament for the tree. 😊
We spent the late afternoon and into the evening at Six Flags today. We finally got to ride the Judge Roy Scream. My kids actually enjoyed it. I remember this ride being very bumpy, but I guess since they replaced the cars, maybe it has made it more smooth. LOL!
The Fireworks were awesome and were shot from the top of the Oil Derrick.

It's been eight years since we have had any type of Season Pass. LOL! So, when my son started talking about Six Flags memberships and paying monthly, I was a bit intrigued. I mean, $240 for four Season Passes, plus a parking pass, is a chunk of money to drop. Especially when you have find something to eat and drink all day while you are there. Drink cups can be purchased, but that's another $80 to tack on.
Lets talk about memberships. You have to commit to one year. They have Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Diamond Elite and VIP. We decided to go with Diamond Elite and tack on a Dining Deluxe pass to it. We paid $181.00, ($80 of this being deposits). The monthly fee will be around $100.00 a month. Considering how much my gaming passes and website cost, this is nothing. This membership gives us the advantage of parking in Preferred Parking (reservation required and at the front of the park), unlimited drinks all day while we visit, a 50% discount on almost everything in the park, two skip the lines passes per visit, 2 digital photos, etc. We also get to basically eat free with our Deluxe Dining pass, which is awesome! We get two meals and a snack every visit. We went and ate BBQ the other night and it would have cost us over $60, but we paid $0. Yes, this membership has already paid for itself, and we have only been three times!

My family hardly EVER gets to do anything. It's time that changed.
