Happy Administrative Professional Day - a day early

Aw, one of the CPS PAs got all the Admins a coffee cup filled with chocolates for Administrative Professionals Day (tomorrow). He works at a different office tomorrow, so he put them together today. 😊 I really work with some awesome people!!

I thought he was just trying to color coordinate the calendar when he asked everyone for their favorite colors this morning. LOL!

 

 

Happy Birthday Babe!

Happy 53rd Birthday to my wonderful and amazing other half!! Best Hubby and Father!! I am so thankful to have you by my side!! We have had some rough times with lots of bumps and bruises, but with the grace of God, we still manage to keep floating. Love ya Babe!! Hope you have enjoyed your special day.

Fun day!

We went to Six Flags yesterday and brought along my MIL, who hasn't been in probably 35 or 40 years. The weather held out, and it a nice and breezy overcast day! I believe Mom II had a great time! 😊

 

 

I could never blog fulltime...

I am such a bad blogger. So glad I have never tried to get a blog going to make money from. It would crash and fail. I just can't get on everyday. I am not one of up front up personal people that like to do reviews and all that jazz. I have way too much going in my life at the moment. Heck. Even when I wasn't working full-time, I was gaming instead of blogging when on my computer. And yeah, I'm not one of those people into streaming live. I don't really like videos. 😁

Speaking of videos - we got caught in Savage Mister's video eating funnel cake and nachos Easter weekend. 😅 Yep, that's us there under the blue umbrella, top left. Gonna have to be on the look out for this guy. My son watches this guy's Youtube channel for updates on Six Flags and stuff.

Celebration Fun!

 Happy 22nd Birthday to my AWESOME and AMAZING son!!

It's been a week! LOL! I routed cases all week, along with working the front desk and providing lunch coverage. I have the best boss!! She let me finish my work day at home yesterday so I could get a few things together to celebrate our son's birthday.

 

My husband had picked up his cake earlier and I was so anxious about the topper I was intending to make for it. I wrapped my work day up and started wrapping a few gifts and getting things staged. I am one of those people that believe in all types of celebrations. I don't care how old you are, we are still going to celebrate and have fun! My kids tastes have always been different so decorated store bought cakes were usually a no go because if it's not in "the book", they cannot create it. So, we have either made the cake or had it made and created our own toppers, used figurines, etc. Sister came up with the idea of using The Rinne Sharingan from Naruto. Oh man. It took a while to complete and my hand kept falling asleep while trying to cut out the rings. This is what an archery target cut out and re-sized (font of 250) period and commas in Microsoft Word will do - glued and laminated! 😁

We played a few games, and later, we went and picked up Raising Cane's for dinner. We ate and then had cake and T opened his gifts. He got a pretty cool Naruto T-shirt, some jersey pants, a STEAM card, and a gaming bundle for Wizard101, which is one of the games we have been playing since 2009. All in all, it was a fantastic celebration night!! 😍🎈🎂

I have always been fascinated by this ocean liner and it's history. I watched the LIVE stream that THG did and it was absolutely stunning! Beautiful! I cannot wait until they get Demo 401 up and running.

Work ... work ... work

Work from Home day! Whew! I finished going through a massive stack of papers and two binders that had paperwork in them since 2007!!! For real?? 😯 What have the Admins been doing all these years? Policy information and Memorandums change extensively through the years. All of this is going in the shred bin tomorrow when I get back to the office.

 

I have been tasked with cleaning all the work stations and preparing them for the workers to return to the office at least two days a week. I spent yesterday with my supervisor cleaning and going through file cabinets. I'm surprised I am not having an allergy fit. LOL! 😅
