Memorial Day

It's three day weekend for me and I hope everyone is enjoying a great one! Not really a day of celebration, but remembrance for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Remember that Freedom is not free.

Surprise

I mentioned previously that our major appliances all failed at the same time. LOL! Lowes ran a half off deal not long ago on washer and dryers and we decided to just go ahead and buy a Whirlpool washer and dryer set. We have not been able to get them set up because they are apparently wider than the area where the others were and we are going to have to remove the right side wall of the closet. Hopefully we can get the wall down, re-framed, and get rock on it, and then we can lay new floor tile. The flood messed up the tile.

My sister surprised us! Last week, she sent me a text asking if Buddy (my hubby) had FB messenger. That is a nickname that my husband has always been called. I told her yes, and they had this long conversation which he relayed to me the next day, as I had already gone to bed. My sister and her husband decided to buy us a new fridge!!! 😲 They not only bought us a fridge, but had it delivered and brought in the house. I am so thankful that this happened, and it has been so hard watching my husband try to bend down to reach items out of the small fridges we had been using. He gets dizzy when he leans over too far, which is a side effect of his TBI. I was finally able to get everything out of the two smaller fridges and into this one. Our kitchen is tiny, so these pictures don't do justice, but you can definitely see the size difference. We are so thankful and greatly appreciate this act of kindness!! 💗 It's so nice to have a regular size appliance again.

Happy 15 Years Minecraft

Minecraft is 15 years old but have only been playing this awesome sandbox game for eight of them. Notch never intended this game to be what it has become today. I am so thankful that it's still going strong. Cheers to many more years Minecraft!🎉🍻

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day weekend was spent kicking back at the house. I am still trying to get over this infection and my cough is not entirely gone yet. My wonderful hubby and kiddos got me some special things for mommy's day. 💟 🥰

I woke up to these cute little notes on my computer keyboard from my daughter. My hubby got pretty flowers for me and also took some to the cemetery for my mom since it was raining.💐 I got a couple of cards and some candy, too. My sweet husband also made my favorite meal - spaghetti and meatballs!! 🍝

Sea of Thieves - Skirmish

Tonight while playing on Sea of Thieves, we sat and watched two ships engaging in battle after we sold our good to the Sovereigns.  It went on for quite a while, but then they decided to come after us!  We had already raised anchor, so we were able to get sailing.  Sailing a galleon is not easy and it's definitely not as fast as the ships that were tailing us, or should I say caught up to us?? 😁  The brigs sail faster.  So, we ended up engaging in a fight with cannons.  Then two megladons showed up and promptly sank all of us! 😂

Out Sick

I've been sick for well over a week now. 🤧 I missed three days of work last week and ended up working remote. It wouldn't surprise me if it started with allergies and manifested into an infection. After the sneezing and coughing episode this morning almost made me pass out, hubby had me at the doctor getting checked out. I think I pulled all the muscles in my lower back and stomach. 😖

Negative tests for both Flu and Corona virus. I ended up getting a steroid shot and put on antibiotics. 💊 Doc wants me to work the rest of the week from home and get some rest.

ROBLOX - ERLC

Playing ERLC and going through the tunnel tonight did not play out well. My car spun out and I couldn't maneuver it around before PD got to me. LOL!

Arrested by the King's guard!!! 😂

Disney Dreamlight Valley - update Thrills & Frills

Daisy has made it to my valley and I am going to put her house in the meadow across from Donald's boat. LOL!

 

The premium shop also got an upgrade and looks way nicer. A new star path has begun, too. And then I noticed this guy and I just HAD to have him!!
