Years of talk about a Five Night's at Freddy's movie has FINALLY come about!! I am so excited and happy for Scott! He really deserves this and the trailer definitely looks awesome!! My daughter, who has followed FNAF since 2014, is so hyped about this finally coming to fruition. 😁
Five Nights at Freddy's is a media franchise created by Scott Cawthon, an American (retired) animator, video game developer, author, screenwriter, and now film producer. He lives in Texas with his wife and their six kiddos. The first game was released in August of 2014 and gained a massive amount of popularity around the world. The main series consists of nine video games focusing around Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and other locations. The franchise also consists of several book series, merchandise, and a huge fanbase known for its production of fan art and fangames.
In June of 2021, Scott's public donations, which were mainly to the Republican party, were shared on Twitter, causing a huge controversy and uproar on social media. In the aftermath, Scott made the ultimate decision to retire from the gaming community and focus on his family.
To this day, Scott's website - scottgames.com - remains a black screen. We sure do miss all his teasers that he would put up on his website and remain hopeful that one day, we will again see an image instead of darkness.
